Penalty Kick Online is a soccer shootout game with an unusual twist – a quick math question between shots. You alternate between two roles: the kicker trying to bury the ball in the net, and the goalkeeper trying to block it. Pick one of 32 countries (most of them familiar World Cup sides), and you play through five rounds of penalties. Whoever has the most goals at the end takes the win.

What makes Penalty Kick stand out from other shootout games is its bonus-shot system. Score your first goal and a maths question pops up. Answer it correctly within a few seconds and you earn an extra kick – a real game-changer in a tight match. Miss the maths and you go back to the standard five-shot format. It is a small thing that turns a quick browser kick-around into a slightly more strategic game.

How to Play Penalty Kick

On the kick: click and drag from the ball in the direction you want to shoot. The length of your drag controls power, the angle controls direction. A short, angled drag low into the corner beats a wild full-power shot most of the time. On defence: move your mouse to position the goalkeeper. You can move during the run-up, so watch the kicker's body angle for a hint of where the ball is going.

Tips to Win the Shootout

  • Aim low and to the corners. Goalkeepers in this game commit early and have trouble adjusting low – high shots often go straight to the keeper's hands.

  • Mix your shots. If you scored top-left, do not go top-left again – the keeper learns your patterns.

  • On defence, watch the kicker's plant foot. It almost always points the way the ball will go.

  • Answer the maths bonus carefully – wrong answers waste your bonus opportunity, but rushing also costs you the chance. Read the full question.
