Tips for Beating the Master Chess AI
Control the centre. The four central squares (d4, d5, e4, e5) are the most powerful real estate on the board – pieces there reach more squares.
Develop knights and bishops before the queen. Bringing the queen out early just lets the AI chase it with pieces that develop for free.
Castle within the first 10 moves. Your king behind a wall of pawns is dramatically safer than your king in the centre.
Look for two-move tactics: pins (where a piece cannot move because of a more valuable piece behind it) and forks (one piece attacking two enemy pieces). Most beginner wins come from these.
