Snake and Ladder Game

Enjoy the world’s most famous board game, Snake and Ladder, right here on Pookigame! This is a simple and fun race to the top. You can choose to play against a friend on the same screen or test your luck against the computer. The goal is easy: be the first player to reach the final square on the board to win!

The game is full of surprises. If you land on a ladder, you get to climb up and move ahead fast. But watch out for the snakes! If you land on a snake’s head, you will get bitten and slide all the way back down. Every roll of the dice can change everything. Roll a six to get an extra turn and race toward the finish line on Pookigame!

How to Play Chess Classic

• Choose Your Challenge

  Play by yourself against the computer to practice, or choose the two-player mode to play with a friend on the same screen.

• Take Your Turn

  White always goes first, then players take turns moving one piece at a time. Click a piece to see where it can go, then click the square to move it.

• Capture Pieces

  To take an opponent's piece, move your piece onto the square where their piece is sitting. This removes their piece from the board.

• Use the Undo Button

  Made a mistake? Click the Undo button to take back your last move. This is great for learning and fixing accidental clicks on Pookigame.

• Win with Checkmate

  Attack the enemy King so it cannot escape. If the King is trapped and has no safe moves, you win the game!

Moves of Chess Classic

• Pawn

  1. Moves forward one square at a time. On its very first move, it can jump forward two squares. It captures enemy pieces by moving one square diagonally.

• Rook

  1. Moves in straight lines - up, down, left, or right.
  2. It can go as many squares as it wants if the path is clear.

• Knight

  1. Moves in an "L" shape (two squares one way, then one square to the side)
  2. It is the only piece that can jump over other pieces!

• Bishop

  1. Moves only in diagonal lines (like an "X")
  2. Each bishop stays on its own color square for the whole game.

• Queen

  1. The most powerful piece! She can move in any direction
  2. straight or diagonal for any distance.

• King

  1. The most important piece to protect. He can move one square in any direction (up, down, side, or diagonal).
