Impulse Ball is a fun physics puzzle game with 45 levels. Instead of hitting the balls, you create impulses next to them to make them move. Aim your impulses carefully to bounce the balls around obstacles and into the target spots. The controls are easy to use, but the puzzles get harder as you play.

You can enjoy smooth gameplay on both desktop and mobile browsers, so you can play anytime, anywhere.

Impulse Ball Game Play Instructions

Starting the Game

  • Click the blue-and-white Play button in the center of the welcome screen to open the level select screen.

  • Only the first level is available at the start. Beat a level to unlock the next one.

  • Your web browser automatically saves your progress.

  • The bottom of the welcome screen shows how many levels you have unlocked.

  • TThe Settings button lets you reset your game progress anytime.

  • Use the left mouse click to set off impulses

Touchscreen Devices

  • Tap the screen where you want to release an impulse.

Controls & Indicators

  • The bottom of the screen shows how many impulses you have left.

  • The top-right corner has three buttons: Restart Level, Level Select, and Return to Welcome Screen.

Gameplay

Levels

  • Impulse Ball has 45 sequential levels. Beat one to unlock the next.

  • You can replay any level you’ve already completed.

  • Each level starts with 10 impulses. Running out ends the level.

  • The game offers unlimited continues, restarting you on the same level with 10 impulses.

Strategy Tips

  • Straight shots: Shoot down the middle for long distances.

  • Curved shots: Bounce off walls to angle the ball where you want it to go.

  • Narrow passages: Approach slowly by setting impulses farther from the ball or bouncing it off parallel walls.

Hitting Obstacles

  • Obstacles may deflect the ball but won’t break it.

  • Plan shots to bounce off obstacles intentionally when necessary.

When to Hit?

  • Usually, hit the ball after it stops.

  • Sometimes, hitting while it’s moving helps adjust direction.

  • Watch out for screen zooms, which can affect your aim mid-shot.

Hitting the Cup

  • Unlike some golf games, hitting the hole hard won’t make the ball roll out.

Aggressive vs Defensive Play

  • Early in a level: Low cost of restart, so aim for strong, high-risk shots.

  • Closer to the hole: Play carefully and use precise, short impulses.

  • Few impulses left: Consider riskier shots to cover distance efficiently.
