Car Traffic Racer is the kind of pick-up-and-play driving game that you start "just for a minute" and then look up half an hour later still trying to beat your score. You drive a car down an endless highway packed with traffic moving at different speeds, and your only job is to thread the gaps without crashing. The longer you survive and the faster you go, the more points you bank – but the closer the misses, the bigger the bonus.

What separates Car Traffic Racer from a basic endless runner is the near-miss scoring. Driving safely in the middle lane keeps you alive but earns almost nothing. The big points come from squeezing past trucks at maximum speed, weaving across all three lanes with cars on both sides. The game rewards risk, but only if you survive it.

How to Play Car Traffic Racer

Use the up arrow (or W) to accelerate and the down arrow to brake. Left and right arrows change lanes – the car snaps cleanly across, not by gradual steering. Hold accelerate for faster speed and bigger near-miss bonuses; tap the brake only when traffic is genuinely about to wall you in. Crashes end the run immediately, so the trade-off is always speed-versus-safety.

Tips for a High-Score Run

  • Stick to the right two lanes when possible – they have slightly more traffic but cleaner sight lines, so reactions are faster.

  • When two slow cars block lanes 1 and 3, hold steady in lane 2 – do not panic-swerve; the gap usually opens within a second.

  • Near-miss bonuses scale with speed. A 90mph pass is worth more than three safe 50mph passes – run hot when you spot a clean lane.

  • Take micro-breaks between runs. Your reactions get worse with continuous play – a 30-second rest visibly improves the next run.
